Un-Freekin-believable!!

Here I am sewing away and making progress on my I Spy and all of a sudden, the bottom threads start jamming up. I changed the bobbin that was getting really low on thread and I rethreaded the bobbin. This took longer than expected because first, the bobbin wound loosely and then the thread got caught around the bottom of the bobbin case and I had to unwind all of that.... ARGH!!

So, I get the bobbin threaded correctly and thread the machine and start again. It catches again. To the point where it may have put a hole in fabric I am sewing on. >:-< So I pull the bobbin out again, clean the underpart with my little brush and pull out all of the fuzz that I can. Now this really surprises me that there is so much in there because I haven't used the machine except 3-4 times since I got it back from the dealer. And this is probably the third time that I have used it!!!

Once I was getting the fuzz out, this is what happened:

I think that the screw was just tighten too much and split the plastic on the casing. I was able to continue sewing to test and see if I had cleared out whatever the problem was. I guess that I did.u

I just can't see taking the machine back in for them to keep it indefinitely this week since I am supposed to be sewing all week.

How disappointing!!!

Oh my heavens. I would think the sewing shop that cleaned your w\machine should be liable for the damages. It sure seems like they did something wrong. That's really sad because you were all set to sew all week.

Oh wow and you were planning to sew all week. That always happens at the worst possible time. Last night mine gave me an E3 error. I freaked, turned off the machine and later turned it back on and it was fine. I guess I was in too big a hurry to let the cutter, cut. Be careful with the Gutterman thread, it will wax up your tension and cause problems.

I'd be sooooooo pissed!!! Knowing how I am, I would have just gone out and bought a new machine and worried about the reprucussions later! I would so not be trusting that dealer anymore.
