I have been a little busy trying to prepare for Christmas so I haven't posted too much lately. Last night, I was getting myself a little more organized and I think that I made some progress. I printed off some patterns to make and figured out how much fabric I would need for them. I also made a stack of things to take with me when I leave today. I am going to stop off at Best Friends and Michael's on my way home.
Last night I was able to straighten up my sewing area, sandwich the Halloween table runner to stipple sometime for practice, and fix and finish the Monkey fabric book. I also have a growing stack of things that are cut and ready to be sewn.
Tonight, I am going to pick up some thread that I need for the yellow purse and some money fabric to make checkbook covers. I thought that would be fitting! And some fun fabric to make the Rice Heating Bags. And hopefully, I will have another productive night tonight!

It always helps to get organized and then you can be more productive.
Hey, what ever happened with your machine? Are you just leaving it as is until after the holidays?
Good luck on the rice packs...I did them once and they scare teh crap out of me. I had rice flying everywhere! I really need to make myself some new ones though.
It seems everyone has been really busy lately. I'm almost done with one project and then just a couple small ones to go.
