Like there isn't enough to do already!

Jen has created a special Yahoo group for us and set me up as a moderator. She has also decided that we need to have a blog ring for all of our favorite fellow bloggers so that we can be known to all as being, well, I'll be honest - part of a clique. You know, a group of people who gather together and look down their noses at everyone else? I *LOVE* it!!! :D

Jen set up the Yahoo Group Cre8tive Quilter on either Saturday or Sunday. It must have been Sunday because I was online Saturday night and then not online again until Monday evening and there it was. In the 2 days that I was offline, there were already 89 (or some crazy number like that) posts and there was no way that I was going to be able to catch up. And a lot of my blog-friends had already signed up.

I thought this would be the end of the clique-iness because having a group to moderate is tough. Well, today, Jen created our blog ring. Basically, a blog ring is a group of blogs that are linked together and you can jump from one blog to the next via the nifty blog add on that you get when you request to join a ring. Anyone can use the buttons to go from blog to blog, but you have to be a member of the ring in order for your blog to be included.

Our ring is called Prolific Online Quilters. Since Jen set the Ring up, she is the moderator of the ring and has to approve everyone. She is the Ring Master. She wants to let me be a ring master, too, but isn't sure if it's allowed. I think that for now being a co-moderator on the yahoo group is enough. I was just reading a couple of posts on that and realized that I can ban a member. I can BAN A MEMBER! I have that much power! I will have to be careful of this could seriously go to my head!

Anyway, if you would like to join the blog ring, go to the sidebar and in the section underneath my picture are the links to the ring. Click on Join and follow the instructions.r

If you would like to join the Yahoo group, click this link and it will take you to Yahoo and the group page and you can request to join. Just tell 'em Jill sent you! If you have a Yahoo account, great. If not, you can set one up very easily and then join the group.

See you there!

Far out! Who exactly do I get to look down my nose at? I am short so consider that before answering... You are too funny. I'm very happy to be included in the "clique".
Have a great weekend!

OMG, you make our group sound like an awful, horrific group of cattiness!! Man, we haven't slammed anyone yet! I guess that throws our "safe" place right out the window now that we're a "clique." Giggle, I just figured you'd want to moderate; if you don't I think you can unmoderate yourself since you're a moderator...just don't give my mom the job because she sort of deletes stuff...a lot of stuff.

OH how funny, but please done delete me! I guess you really do love the power. I love the blog ring, at least now I can really read the ones I want to and hear about what everyone is doing too.

I attempted to sign up for the blog ring via the link on your blog--guess I will just wait to see if I am approved! This batch of quilters is just too fun to miss--hope to be in the ring soon!

Why is it I picture you and Jen walking around in 'petal pushers' (ok, if you know what those are, you are older than I think)or 'knickers' with big tall black boots, a long coat, black top hat and carrying a WHIP? Oh TOO Funny!

I feel really honored to be a part of your clique. I was never popular in school, so now I know what it feels like to be part of the 'chosen few'. Thanks!
