I just got home from my quarterly cut and curl. Krissy does a great job and tonight was the second night that she used a different perm solution and the perm took great! She added a bit more styling product than she normally does and she didn't dry it all the way. In the morning, I will get in the shower and the hair will get wet and I will probably add a tiny bit of conditioner to it just to help style for tomorrow since I can't wash it until Friday.
Anyway, I think she went a little crazy with the gels, mousses, and creams and now it is starting to dry more and is getting very...well, full. I don't want to put a clip in because it will pull out the curls, but it is starting to flop around a lot.
I just got a glimpse of myself in the mirror - OMG!!! I am Roseanne Roseannadanna!!! I am a total poofball!!
No wonder the dogs are avoiding me so far tonight!

Happy Valentine's Day - I was once Nancy from the cartoon strip after a perm, and DH threatened to keep all velcro away from me so I would not get stuck!!! I always feel poofy after a haircut, too. I am sure it will settle once you get to wash it!

That's got to be the worst part of a perm, having to wait to wash.
