New Occupation...

They warned us to behave and stay out of trouble... But I have gone and done it... I have a new occupation...

I am a PIMP! (And that doesn't stand for my new fav abbreviation Peeing in My Pants...)

Last night, Jen made me a little notions caddy for under my sewing machine. She also made one for my buddy Mary. Jen said that it would've been a great item to make to sell at the Retreat with the proceeds going to St. Jude's Hospital.

Notion caddy

Well, today Mary and I were bragging about it to some other people at the retreat and they said that Jen should make one for them and Jen said OK. It seemed as though Patrice had forgotten to come and look at my goodie so I called her over and she brought fat quarter for Jen to make her one. Then 2 other people brought fat quarters over and others are looking for FQs to have her make them ones, too. I jokingly said that they should make a donation to St Jude's for their caddy and they all agreed.

So, I am pimping out my friend for St Jude's!! I think it's a good cause so it is acceptable...

Now, I am back to sewing. I am in awe of how much Jen can do and how much she has gotten done and I am not even trying to keep up anymore...

And you gals are going to have to wait for more posts. I am off on Monday to recuperate so I hope to have some posts done then. With lots of pictures! I promise!

Wow I never thought someone would pimp out my daughter but I guess if it's for a good cause. Sounds like you two are two peas in a pod and having a great time.

What an awesome opportunity to raise more money! I am proud of both of you. Jen is so sweet to give up her own sewing time for this. Awesome!

I can't wait to hear more about your retreat, and keep having fun!
Love,
Michelle

What a way to treat a new friend! Oh well, for a good cause I'm sure Jen doesn't mind a bit. I made a couple for our quilt trunk show and gave them as door prizes. Great way to practice FMQ.
