My Sweatshop

I was having some issues with laying out the blocks so I packed everything up and took them with me to my Quilted Chaos (my Guild small group) meeting. The ladies were more than happy to help me finish the blocks up! I joked with them that they were all working for me and that it was like sweatshop conditions! Here are the pictures of them helping me out. We kept laughing because I only had one finished block for everyone to look at and I tried taping it to a door with Post it tape behind me and it kept falling down.

From the left, this is Jeanette, Patrice and Jan.

We finally got them all laid out and then I spent time pinning the blocks in order to the paper that we laid them out on. Now, I have 18 blocks ready to be sewn together. Tonight, I start assembling the blocks!

After our meeting, we all ran down to the Dip for ice cream. Well, Judy had already left and Jan didn't want ice cream so late so it was just Patrice, Jeanette, Linda and me. I just had a chocolate and vanilla twist cone. I'm in trouble. It's good ice cream!

Good to have quilty friends, isn't it Jill? Anxious to see this one when it's all done! By the way, can you count the time Judy, Patrice and others worked on YOUR project for your contest? (Just teasing!)
