Productive evening

I left work just after 3 armed with my prepared Jell-o, a car full of quilting supplies and my handy directions and headed to the Blue Licks State Park in Kentucky for a retreat with my Guild. I stopped and got a drink and subs for Cathy and me for dinner and made it to the park in just over an hour and a half. Cathy and Dom helped me unload the car and then Cathy and I ate our subs. Within an hour, I was sewing away!

Here is the room where we are.

And here is the spot where I am sewing across from Cathy.

And the snack table.

I started working on my blocks for the Chicken in Every Pot quilt.

Cathy was working on a turkey wall hanging.

Eventually, we all had Cheech splashes. Dom had issues with drinking hers.

By the end of the night, Cathy and I were the last ones still up in our room, but I was able to get all of my blocks completed.

Woo hoo!!!

Sounds like you are having a great time and getting a ton done. Can't wait to see what the quilt looks like in the end.
