After a busy day at work, I was able to finish sewing the center part of the top together for the Chicken in Every Pot. I tried to come home and nap a little, but I was unable to fall asleep so I sewed. It was a good trade off.
I think it looks pretty good!
And since I was on a roll, I pulled out my blocks for the Not Your Grandma's Log Cabin....
I got the quilt all laid out, or thrown up on the design wall, and I got the first 2 rows sewn together. The pattern is really great because the ironing directions were perfect for nesting the seams. The layout is for the blocks to be on point, but there are no setting triangles. And there are a few pieced borders. The pattern is from the Not Your Grandma's Patchwork book from Briarwood Cottage.

I love that chicken in every pot quilt. It's quite striking!
Chicken in a pot is very nice but I am really digging on the other one! Can't wait to see that all finished.
