Some goodies from my peeps

Last week, I got a package from Regina that included a few things that were pick me ups from the July Challenge last year. They were still pretty timely since I have sort of backed myself into a corner what with the real job, the Best Friends' job, the quilt retreat and all of the preparation that needs to be done for the retreat and having friends from all over coming to town to stay with me and the ninjas.

Regina sent me some post it notes, some recipes and recipe cards and some very interesting flavors of Jello - Strawberry Daiquiri and Margarita. Yum!

Today, I got a box from Jen. She stuffed it full of goodies for me! A pink Lanyard and needles.

As I was pulling the fabric out of the box, the dogs went nuts! I'm thinking that Jen rubbed the fabric all over her dog, Holly, to send the scents to the dogs!

Here's a picture once I shooed the dogs away. There a few yards of purple Wizard of Oz witch fabric for pants, a purple fabric that she gifted me (grumble grumble, I have to add this to my stash report. Darn her! hee hee), a potato microwave bag (sans directions - how the heck do I use this thing?), and a pink block roll up.

Here is what the roll up looks like in use.

I might need a couple more of these! What a great way to store blocks while working on projects!

So now, I'm off to admire my prizes! And to fend off the dogs from attacking the fabric from Jen!

Awesome gifts! I got my package today too. Except my hubby hid it from me.

Wash the potatoe, dry it, wrap it in a papertowel and place in the bag and then in the microwave. Depending on the size is how long it waves for. I did a sweet potatoe the other day and it was fantastic.
