Last night, I went through all of my flannel scraps. I had gotten a bunch of flannel from a fellow Guild member when she was making a rag quilt. I thought that I would use it to make myself a rag quilt. I have since decided that this is not really on my list of things that I want to do.
Here is all of the flannel with Max. I was trying to keep him from crawling on the pile to sleep.
I measured it pretty roughly and in total it is 18 yards of fabric.
Here is a picture of it more scattered about.
There are also some pieces in the pile that are leftovers from the flannel pants that I have made for my niece and nephew.
It is all being shipped out. All 18 yards!!
This will be a real quick giveaway. Depending on the demand and the size of the boxes that I can get my hands on, I will do 2 or 3 prizes. To enter, leave me a comment on this post. I need to be able to reach you so if you are not one to share your email from your profile, leave it in the comment.
Good luck!!

Oh, boy..would this be a great windfall for me! This is sooooooo generous of you! I love checking your blog and having that milky way staring at me...I NEED one of those! lol
I had never pursued adding flannel fabric to my stash, until recently when I made my first rag quilt for charity. I ended up with scraps that like to breed with others (better breeding). I have acquired a few flannel scraps from others, and would love to get more. All will be used to make charity quilts. And I'll buy background flannel fabrics to make them work. My goal is to use up all this flannel, not add it to my stash. But I do hope you can find others that will want it too. I'm sure whomever gets your flannel will appreciate it.
Thanks for sharing.

Yippee. I love flannel and have been diligently cutting squares out to make a denim and flannel rag quilt.
I would love to add more "colour" to my current stash.
I love using flannels with other fabrics like chenille and flannelback satins and terry cloth and minky to add texture and interest to a quilt. Put my name in the hat please!
Very tempting, I'm in. It might be nice to do a "bonnie hunter" quilt using flannel scraps. What do you think?
I love the feel of flannel and living in northern Maine, I like my quilts to have flannel for warmth, either backed or batting. Would love a bunch of these for my own play day blankie. I make the rag ones for my grandkids too...so snuggly for cuddling.
Ohh, please throw my name in the hat!!!
Looks like some great fabric for making Project Linus quilts.

Put my name down for the hat too please as I do have a rug waiting to be finished off and some rags would be brilliant,
Jill you are so generous. Please add my name to the draw. I make wheelchair quilts with a foot pocket and I like to use fleeze or flannel on the back so they are nice and warm for the residents in the long term care facility that I work in.
Thanks for the chance to win.
Not sure if my email is on my blog so it is:
rn1975@hotmail.com (just so you know though I don't check this email daily. It is infrequently checked.)
Hope I'm not too late to put my name in the hat! I have some baby quilts I [still!] need to make, and flannel is soooo nice to add texture.
This is very thoughtful. Have you ever made a rag quilt? There are wonderful - my favorite actually to hunker down on the coucb with. Please enter my name. Thanks!
