Enough crappy computer posts! I want to celebrate everything that got done last month!
Pardon the lack of links, but my laptop is out of commission... I would add them if I could! :)
1. Finished sock #2 and started sock #3 to replace one of the first 2.
2. Made 2 rice bags
3. Finished the 2 Fruit table runner and place mat sets - 2 runners and 8 mats
4. Quilted the second Shrek charity quilt. I have also decided on the fabric to use for the binding on these 2 quilts.
5. Finished the binding and made a pot holder for the RV place mats.
6. Made 472+ a few HSTs for the "B&W" quilt! I am also ready to work on the next pieces and hope to have them ready to finish assembly this weekend!
I kept track of the hours that I spent knitting and quilting, but I am not sure of the totals right now. I think it is Knitting - 28, quilting 48. If it's different, I will change it.
Books were a little slow in finishing this month. There were 2 that I almost turned off altogether!
1. The Summer on Blossom Street by Debbie Macomber - What a horrific narrator!! She sounded like she had a smile plastered on her face for the entire book! And new pronunciations.... ASKED is pronounced like ASK among many, many others. The first time that she said 2 of the main characters names, she got them wrong!!! LYDIA is not pronounced LINDA and Anne Marie is not Maryanne.... Where were the producers??? At least I am up to date on this series. And from now on, these will be manual books since they are so easy to read.
2. The Quilter's Daughter by Wanda Brunstetter - Beverly Lewis is still my favorite writer of Amish books!
3. A Single Thread by Marie Bostick - LOVED this one!! It was really good! I already have the next one in line to read, too!
4 and 5. Scarpetta and Scarpetta Factor by Patricia Cornwell - Great additions to series! I really enjoyed the second one and couldn't wait to get back to both of them when I was listening!

Those HST's are deceptively time consuming! Until I made my HST/4 patch quilt, I really had no idea!!! I have a love/hate relationship with them now.
Looks like a great month - and it was even the short one!!!
I loved Patricia Cornwell. Before I started quilting, and I used to read more, I read about every book of hers I could get my hands on. I like that type of movie too.
Sounds like your narrator was a little dyslexic?
Praying your laptop is fixed tonight....Michelle
Good job! What a lot of productive hours you got in.
Hi Jill - I read your blog often but never comment but I had to on this one. DELILAH! I HATED her narrating on Summer on Blossom Street. It was terrible! I just finished that one myself a few days ago. I'm glad I'm done with it!
