For Real - THIS is it!

THIS is the 999th post!

Today, Barb (HOLLAAAA!!) and I went shopping!! Joann's was having a big sale and of course we had to go and see what we could get! The Art Bins were on sale as was the backing for the SIS quilt. Most of the other little things were not on sale, but needed for some of the giveaways coming up. Plus, we had 10% off your total order coupons!

And since we were right next to a PetSmart and Half Price books, I dragged Barb in with me. The PetSmart pic will be shown last... But I picked up some quilting fiction books. The Persian Pickle Club is for me, but the rest will be use in giveaways this month.

After a little shopping we did something different than IHOP and went to Olive Garden. It was wonderful, but of course we ate too much! Then, we went to The Fabric Shack! I got the top 3 fabric and the donut FQ for I Spy quilts - I just couldn't pass those up. They are super cute! And all of the FQs were $1 so I picked up some backgrounds. And I found the cream and black fabrics! Sue sent the cream with the red when she sent Regina and I the swap fabric for the SIS quilt. Regina tried to find it, but we couldn't find the name of the line. I had to grab up what I could as soon as I saw it! And the last black is a tone on tone - KOI!! This will look great with the other Orientals for my neighbor's quilt!

After we finished at The Shack, we hit the Village Family Restaurant for dessert! Peanut Butter Pie for me and an Apple Dumpling a la mode for Barb! Yum!!

As usual, Barb and I had a great time and laughed a lot! Especially on the ride home... I think that we were getting really slap happy!

And the pups were very happy to see me. Especially when they realized that they got toys and bones from PetSmart! Here, I made them pose and they just wanted to continue getting acquainted with their new buddies!

OK, for REALS! This is the 999th post! The 1,000th post is being written and will post at 8AM on Tuesday, July 6. See you then!

How do you know how many posts there are? I don't know how many I've posted or when I started! You are so far ahead of me in most everything in life ... except years!! Good luck with your giveaway. This is not an entry.

I shopped at Joanns this weekend myself and got a CUTE backing fabric for a sampler I'm working on. 4.75 yards for less than 12 bucks (with 40% off coupon AND 10% off total purchase). Can't beat that price!
