Progress, part one

At least, I hope that will be part one of many parts! lol

I decided to order a pizza for lunch and meals this weekend and I finished cutting my strip sets for the 9 patches for my granma's quilt just as they pulled up.

I thought that I would move onto something else on my list, but this stack of scraps and leftovers is calling to me. I feel so much better when it is all organized so it is my next goal for today before I start cutting out more fabric.

And while I enjoyed my pizza, the pups got to enjoy dental bones!

OOhhhh.... scraps! Now those would be a big distraction for me - as I would want to get them into a project.

All those little pieces intimidate me! You are a better woman than I am. I can't wait to see it, and your grandmother will love it!

I always have to organize and put away before I feel creative too...just starting with a clean slate makes everything go much easier!

That is quite the pile of scraps. It would bug me to see them too, but I would just move them to another room rather than cut them up. LOL

I LOVED THAT QUILT WHEN YOU MADE IT AS A SAMPLE. SINCE YOU ARE ON A ROLE SEWING AND QUILTING, JUST PUT THOSE SCRAPS IN A BOX OR BAG FOR ANOTHER DAY TO SEPARATE THEM...HAPPY QUILTING
