Quilt Designing

A couple of months ago, I worked on designing some quilts for the Accuquilt and EQ7 challenge. I really enjoyed coming up with the quilts and I figured that since the winner has been announced I can show off what I designed. This is just one sample that I submitted. I like this quilt because I think that the blocks look like flowers with the outer petals folding into the center of the flower.

I thought that this would also make a great scrap quilt with different colors of light and dark tones making up each block. I couldn't decide what color to make the centers so they are still white in this one.

I think that this will be added to my list of quilts to make one day!
