Making new friends

When my parents were in town, I had them over to my house for a night. We went to a local Mexican place for dinner and then watched National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation and The Ref. Great holiday movies!

It was interesting to see how my pups got along with their 2 dogs. Here are some pictures. Daphne is the piebald doxie and Jasper is the black doxie. He has 1 brown eye and 1 blue eye. They are both sweeties and I think they both enjoyed horsing around with Max and Maisy!

Max, Maisy and Jasper - Mom brought up toys for Max and Maisy and Daphne enjoyed one still it's squeaker stopped squeaking.

Daphne and mom. Both of their dogs enjoyed digging through the basket of toys and pulling out a lot of the toys to play with.

Daphne and Jasper had to do some quilt testing.

Maisy wasn't sure what to think about the intruders.

And the new pups like to get rough with each other, too. Max and Maisy steered clear of this play for the most part.

They all enjoyed the quilt testing when it was time to settle down though. I was sitting in a recliner with a full size quilt and 4 pups on my lap. It was tough trying to stitch! lol

I love the picture of you lap! I can sympathize! I have 3 minature wirehaired doxies and 4 grandpups, 3 doxies and a poodle. I frequently have an overflowing lap!

I'm glad I cannot get all 4 of my dogs on my lap at once! My DDs dog (we call him 'the cousin') sleeps on the bed (much to the other 3s dismay) My biggest dog is a lab mix. I'm REALLY glad he has not tried to be a lap dog! lololol
