Design Wall Monday, 6/27

Saturday night, I finished the Not Your Grandma's Log Cabin quilt top. This was my May UFO for Judy's UFO Challenge. I'm catching up!

The quilt pattern is from the Not Your Grandma's Patchwork book from Briarwood Cottage. I chose to use nontraditional colors for my quilt.

I don't think that the dogs approve of this one. I had to coax them onto the top, but they got there eventually!

I love the checkerboard border, it really highlights the blocks. Beautiful quilt!

Beautiful quilt. Looks like one of those that isn't difficult piecing but once together loooks very complicated.

Since your dogs don't care for it, you should send it to me to see if my dogs will like it. :) I LOVE it! I think it's fabulous.

Oh I really like how this just vibrates and almost seems "out of focus". Terrific quilt.

I really love the colors you used, beautiful quilt! When you want the dogs to get on the quilt, they won't.

Love your border treatment. Maybe the Pups are not happy with the location or lack of treats? I'm sure once it's quilted they will love it.

Your quilt top is beautiful. I'm not usually a purple lover but your colors are perfect. Maybe the dogs are purple lovers either :)

Ohh, so pretty, love the color combo. I really like the centers, they have almost a pixelated look.

Great colors. I try to step out of my color comfort zone every now and again. I love the checkerboard border.

I love that pieced border!! Seems like I get lazy when it comes to the borders and just do a solid border but I really like this!

you must have sprayed some repellent on it- never saw a quilt those dogs did NOT like...

The dogs may not approve but I do!
Love it!

Really pretty color arrangement! Those gradations almost make the quilt look pixelated. Fun fun fun.

Jill this one is really my favorite of all the ones you have done so far. It might look great on the bed across from your lavender bathroom. If you are the kids decide you just cant live with it, I would love to help out and take if off your hands. LOL happy quilting, congrats on being in the black again
