Getting things in order

I had hopes of sewing all day today, but I woke up too early this morning, had a sour stomach for a lot of the afternoon and have had 2 naps. I started feeling better after an awesome dinner of a huge salad. It was so yummy! And once dinner was finished, I decided to get things straight in my sewing area. Here it is before....

I moved most of these boxes to the spare bedroom. I just have no desire to work on them at this time. Instead, I have economized a bit on the projects.

Now, I have the June and July UFOs for the challenge, the Midget blocks, the witch blocks and the new SIS quilt. I still need to straighten up my scrap corner, but this was enough to do for tonight!

And Max made himself a little bed out of quilting scraps. He is right in front of the closet door here. I guess I need to keep a quilt there so that he can feel close to me when he needs to. His back has been bothering him the last couple of days.

Organizing always feels good. I do hope you're feeling better. Max too! I had high hopes for this long weekend but things just kind of fizzled out and I didn't get into the sewing room until late tonight and only for a little bit.

Poor Max. It is always so sad to see animals in pain. I hope you both a feeling better tomorrow. Nothing like a good nap to improve your day.

I cleaned up my cutting table on Saturday and finally put away my purchases from Cincinnati in April! Your table looks great. Hope you and Max are both feeling better today.

I need to do the same. Get things in order in my sewing room. I just really don't feel like it.

Hope you got to do some sewing after you felt better. A clean sewing area always helps me feel more motivated.
