Tonight, I put some new knowledge to work and changed out the light switches and electrical outlets in the new quilt studio. I also did one outlet in the kitchen, but it was such a pain in the butt that I stopped.
I really like the way the white outlets and switches look against the new wall color!
And here is part of the garbage from tonight's job.
I need to pick up a few more switches for other spots in the house and I will work on changing them out very soon! It's awesome to be able to do things for myself like this!

you ROCK!
Ditto what Regina said.
Look at you getting all Handy-Andy!
The freedom of being to fix things for yourself is nearly intoxicating. I switched out the broken ignitor on my gas range last week. Cost: $25. Service estimate: $100. Does this mean I get to buy more fabric?
You're awesome. Who needs boys?
Another step closer!! :) You'll have everything finished in no time!

Jill just think about all the money you will save doing this stuff yourself. More money for quilting stuff. And like I said the other day, some people might be calling you to help them, a side job to pay for qulting stuff..wtg..
Nice! I'm impressed!
