Design Wall Monday - 2/13

I finally got the customer tops made! I didn't get a picture of the yellow quilt before I got it on the frame, but it's on the frame with the backing and the binding is all ready to be sewn on as soon as the quilting is finished!

I was thinking that I would do some sort of flower design on one of these quilts, but I think that I am just going to do a stipple to make sure I hit some bad spots in the blocks to make sure the quilts will hold up.

And once I got the yellow one on the frame, I assembled the blue one and got the binding made. I still have to make the backing, but that shouldn't be a problem either.

I messed up on the last white corner and cut into the side border instead of just trimming off the end of the white so I had to do a little maneuvering. It all worked out though. Thank goodness!!

And here is the binding that is finished.

I'm thinking that I can get the quilting done and the bindings attached and return the quilts on Wednesday or Thursday. Woo hoo!!

I love the blue one! Maybe you could add some freehand flowers to the quilting.
