When I was planning my 2011 Florida trip, my mom wanted me to be there for a quilt show. When I started looking at dates for this past February trip, I searched to see if the show was going to be held again. It looks like there are 2 different guilds that do shows every other year on the same weekend so I was lucky enough to be in town for a show this year as well.
Yes, the show was almost 2 months ago, but I have a 'to do' list that I am working my way through!
Here are some pics from the Disconnected Piecers Quilt Guild show.
Yummy!! I think I need a runner like this!
A great idea for an I Spy quilt!
This quilt was very neat and the quilting (below) was fantastic!
There were several of these quilts, but I had to snap a pic of this one because of the turtles.
This quilt was part of the Hoffman Challenge and the quilter is from a city close to where I live. The quilting on it was amazing! I saw a lot of the same challenge quilts at the IQF in Cincinnati a couple of weeks ago.
There are more pictures and if you would like to see the rest of the album, click on the first picture in this post and you can scroll through all of the pictures in the album at your leisure in WebShots.
I'll post the pictures from IQF this weekend. :)

Wow, those are some cool quilts. My favorite was the first one-- I loved all that color!
