Book Review Thursday - 2/27

I'm still chugging along on my stack of books from the library. I just haven't been in the reading mood lately. I will get there eventually.  :)

The Missing Dough is the latest in the Pizza Lover's Mystery series by Chris Cavender. Eleanor owns A Slice of Delight pizzeria and she works with her sister Maddy. One of Maddy's ex-husband comes into the restaurant to try and win Maddy back and within days he winds up dead. Immediately, Eleanor, Maddy, and Maddy's fiancee Bob are suspects and The ladies have to investigate. And there are a slew of suspects.

As usual, Eleanor and Maddy work to keep the pizzeria running and to investigate as much as they can. Also, they get a lot of help from neighboring shop owners and various locals from their small town. A good book for a cozy mystery, but there isn't much else there.

I was hoping that this light, cozy mystery would get me back into reading because I can usually finish one of these books in about a week, but this one took me a little longer and I am still not really into the next book I started although the first three chapters have been interesting. :)

This series has been in my "to read" list. My amazon wish list - I've divided everything into categories. I think I have 40 wish lists. LOL. I like these light reads. Go quick.
