Design Wall Monday - 3/31

Once I got some quilting done yesterday, I worked on the borders of this star quilt. The pattern is Sunny Side Up and is a free one on Judy's website.

Only one more side on the third border and then 2 more borders to go! Then, I have to get a backing and get it quilted.

This is a wedding quilt for my cousin who was married February 22. Hopefully, I can get it finished by the end of April. :)

Oh I love that pattern! I did one in RWB. What IS it about borders? I have to MAKE myself put on a side (or two) before I can move on to something I WANT to do! A Christmas quilt I am piecing has 4 borders..and the last one has fusible/machine appliqued swags. THAT puppy will take me a solid week! When a top is done...well, those borders should just MAGICALLY add themselves! HA!
