I finally have my list together for the 12 projects for Judy's UFO Challenge. You can see the list of all the other participants on her blog.
1. Thimbleberries 2009 BOM quilt - I have everything cut out, I just need to make the last 6 months of blocks and then assemble.
2. Bug Jar Quilt - I have all of the fabric and pattern, but nothing else has been done.
3. Futerella One Block Wonder - have the fabric, but that's it.
4. Paris in the Fall BOM - I have the kit, but haven't gotten anything cut.
5. Crumb quilt(s) - I have plenty of crumbs, but they need to be made and then assembled into a top.
Are you sensing a pattern here? lol
6. Sibling Revelry - Regina made the quilt top and sent it to me as 'some assembly required.' That means, I need to quilt it and bind it. ;-D
7. Teal and Brown BOM quilt for me - just needs to be quilted and bound. I'm glad I assembled this one at the same time I did the one for my cousin.
8. Moon Pie - everything is cut out, but I need to doing the sewing. I may also need to pick the borders.
9. Not Your Granma's Log Cabin - This may have been the last class that I took at the quilt shop before I decided that I can follow patterns on my own. lol I have the blocks made and just need to assemble the blocks and borders and then quilt and bind.
10. Star Struck in pink and browns - This was started in August of 2009 at the Bonnie Hunter classes I took in Indianapolis. I don't think that I have touched it since then.
11. Doodlebug - I need to finish the blocks and then assemble the quilt.
12. Jellystone - I need to finish cutting out the quilt and then begin assembly.
Man, what a list this is! A lot of these are older than 1 year so I will be happy to get them finished! And for the most part, I will be happy to get them into a flimsie form instead of pushing to get the entire quilt done in a month. Although, totally completing the quilts this year will be my goal.
Also, I had mentioned a few weeks ago about doing a UFO 'challenge' of my own on my blog, but then Judy posted about this. I have been hemming and hawing about whether I should do mine and after putting ideas down on paper (well, in emails, but you get the idea!) and sending it to a few friends, they all encouraged me to go ahead with my idea. I will be posting about that before the end of the week, I think. I am just waiting for my badge to be ready to identify bloggers as participants...

Wow, that's quite a list - I joined Myra's PhD challenge, and thought 6 was a lot to try to finish up!!!
What a fun list...look forward to see some great finished projects!
That is certainly a nice little list! It will be exciting to see what all you get finished! :) I have like a zillion UFO's but some of them I could care less if I ever touch them again. I can think of "one" of them that I only need "one" more block and I think that part of the quilt top is sewn together but I hate it and just find it hard to make that last block...
Kristie
When I come on your blog and see all the you do, it's nice to know you have some UFO's too!!!
It's a great list - one a month!! I am on Myra's challenge to, but I only put down 4 projects!! (yet there are more waiting in the wings...... or on the shelf if I am going to b honest!!!)
yup, I think you should do your challenge too!!! It's a year to get it done, and the more people are doing, the more they do!! And taking a break to come on here to see what is going on - it's like gas for our engines!! Keep the good energy flowing and insperation high!!! And make this a Fantastic New Year!!!!
Try to finish up Sibling Revelry before I get there in April and I will do the hand sewing on the binding... 'kay?
And you said I had a big list?
LOL... I'm just chuckling to myself sayiong don't start anything and there won't be any UFOs. That way I can look at all my fabric uncut and still play with it. Bwahahahahahahaha....
But that's no fun....
Wow...very ambitious!! Maybe I'll get in on it....
WOW JILL THATS A LONG LIST, BUT NOT AS LONG AS SOME OF YOUR OTHER LISTS HAVE BEEN. YOU CAN DO IT. HAPPY QUILTING..
Dang, now that's a list! I will be cheering you on as I quilt tops month after month!
HOLLLLLAAAA!
I've been MIA from reading blogs, but I am now caught up on Jilly's ;)
We should plan a play date to get your OBW cut. I have my fabric to do my third (and FINAL!) OBW. I start itching when I think of cutting that. I'm so worried about screwing it up. I need backup/reinforcement LOL.
Plus, I can use my new big mat :D
