Even though it's only Tuesday, it is the middle of the 4 day work week, so I am calling it a mid-week update. :)
I am slowly but surely getting things back to normal. Having a 3 day weekend this weekend will go a long way to helping with that.
A few posts ago, I listed out the things that I wanted to get done before Christmas. I am happy to report that I got all but 2 of the things on the list done. The blanket for the dogs wasn't made, but I can do that almost any time and they don't seem to miss the other one that was the gift. And I didn't get the bag made, but I still wrapped up the fabric and zipper and pattern and gave it as a present and then took it all back to make it. I have a couple of months to get it made and then I will hand deliver it.
I am still way behind on blog posts (123) and emails (roughly 88). I am slogging through them as I have time, but I am anticipating getting through them all this weekend to start next week fresh. Or start the New Year fresh.
I also missed Tiny Tuesday again. Too much Christmas sewing! lol I did put a request in for a badge for those of us participating. We should have that soon, too, I think. ;)
My parents are still in town and I have been going to see them the past couple of nights. Tonight, they told me that they are leaving on Thursday morning instead of tomorrow morning so I will see them tomorrow night, too. My poor little pups are feeling very neglected, but I hope to make it up to them this weekend with a bit of cuddle time.
This is one of my parents' dachshunds Daphne and she is a piebald dachshund. They brought their dogs up with them to visit. Daphne loves to have her tummy rubbed and has been running to me when I walk in the house now. She even tried to leave with me tonight. She is such a sweetheart!
That is my granma in the background of the second picture.
My dad keeps trying to tell me that I need another pup....

Sounds like you're having a nice visit with your parents.
You are superwoman with all those projects complete! I'm hoping to get back to sewing and blogging tomorrow or the next day.
