Are you all on the edge of your seats?

I have some news. A couple of things actually.

I just got home from my sister's house. She had a Tastefully Simple party and we got to try lots of stuff. I ordered some of my classic favorites and a couple of new things. I can't wait to have people over so that I can make a dip or biscuits or muffins and I won't have to be the only one eating the whole thing.

That's not the news though....

I got to see all 3 of the kids at my sister's house for the first time since we have been back from South Carolina. Ethan, the youngest, still knows to call me Mimi and I was tickling him and then walked away to do more grown up talk and he started yelling MIMI at me to get me to tickle him some more. So all of the kids were excited to see me and Ethan even came to me on his own!

That's not the news though....

Here's one bit of news:

When I got home from work, the pants that I wore to work were starting to get a little tight around the waste. They are one of the pairs that I was able to fit into last week but hadn't been able to wear in over a year. So I had to find another pair to wear and thought that maybe a pair of jeans would work since there was a chill in the air already. I tried on a pair of size 12 jeans and they fit! They were comfortable and stayed on my hips and waste instead of falling off like the old jeans I was wearing at the beginning of summer.... Then I went to the party and snacked on all of the goodies and have now had to undo the button because they are tight. But at least I wore them for about 3 hours!

And the second bit of news:

I got a phone call from one of the guys from eHarmony! This is the guy who works with my co-worker's husband. He sounded like a nice guy and wanted to meet on Sunday, but I am not sure if I will be able to. If things work out and we meet, great and if we have to put it off a few days or weeks, great. We were talking about our pets and he told me about doing animal rescues and how he has a few cats at his house that he is taking care of right now. He sounds like a very interesting guy.

Well, I have a 'To Do' list of things that need to be done at the house and I want to get as much done tonight as I can because tomorrow is all about quilting! I have a list of things that I have to get done sewing-wise, too. Hopefully, I can get more done this weekend than I did last week! :) I will have to make my list on the blog and then track it after I sew for a while tomorrow. That will keep me on track to at least get something done.

But for now, I am going to start straightening and cleaning and trash collecting and.... well, you get the drift!

Well done on the smaller jeans. Just think how good you'll feel when you get to wear them all day.
Don't hesitate about the man. You don't know what you may be missing.
love and hugs xxx

You just crack me up. Way to go in being able to fit into the smaller jeans. OK so next time you go for being able to wear them a little longer. It won't be long and those too will be falling off of you.
I say go for it with the new guy what have you got to lose. You meet someone interesting, go out a few times and see where it goes. Look at it as dinner and some fun.

Way to go on the jeans!!! You should be very proud! Sounds like you had a great time with the kids. Good luck with the new guy.

Awesome news about the pants! I did that too, wore them till they fell off. Now I think I'm at my level. After reading about your Tastefully Simple party, I went to the cupboard and made beer bread and wild rice soup last night. It was oh so good!

Congrats on the pants!!!! That is awesome! You were probably just bloated from all the sodium in those Tastefully simple things. So any other day they're totally going to fit!

Very cool about the e-harmony guy...just don't let him interfere with your quilting!
