Shop Hop Basket

I was finally able to go to the quilt shop on Saturday that had the basket that I won from the Shop Hop. Well, I thought it was a basket, it turned out to be a bag stocked full of goodies and I couldn't wait to get home and unload everything. The dogs were pretty excited, too, to smell the bag and all of the goodies that came out of it.

Here is a list of what was inside:
  • a mug and coaster set - this will be re-gifted since I am not a coffee drinker and have enough mugs for my hot chocolate when I actually have hot chocolate.
  • Jasmine Rose body scrub and body cream
  • Amy Butler 'feather your nest' home decor projects pattern book
  • a pack of pre-cut butterflies to applique
  • 2 packs of needles - machine and hand stitching needles
  • a pakc of bunny buttons - they are about 1.25 or 1.5" tall and maybe .5" wide.
  • a sleeping moon iron-on applique piece
  • a Moda tin with ladies on the front
  • a Moda handkerchief
  • a cooking timer
  • a ready to use sleeve to use on the back of wall hangings
  • blue star, yellow, and cloud fabric all rolled up - this might be for a pillowcase
  • a fat quarter of green fabric with wheels on it
  • a FQ of black and white checked fabric
  • 6 FQ of coordinating rust and olive fabric - these were what was hanging on the pocket on the outside of the bag
  • a FQ pizza - the FQ are folded into triangles and wrapped on a round piece of cardboard. they are fairly neutral colors.
  • 7 packs of 3" squares. They are wrapped together with a challenge from Fabri-quilt to use all of the pieces to make a 12" by 12" square.
  • a Chaco liner in white. I have one in blue and yellow and love them so this is a great addition!
  • Kitables garden square pattern for a table runner
  • 8 patterns - Irish Reel, Confetti, Patchwork pillowcases - simple square style, Simply Shams - Oh my stars, Primitive Star Table Runner, Patchwork pillowcases - 1/2 square triangle style, Criss Cross Charms, and Month 1 of the Quilt Collection's #14 BOM quilt Celebrate the Season.
  • the 2004 collection of thimbleberries Hometown Christmas - volumes 1-4
  • Fons and Porter's Love of Quilting magazine - Nov/Dec 2006
  • book - 24 Kids' quilt blocks - this is paper pieceing and the blocks are too cute!
  • Sew Easy Pajama Pants - this is by the same author of the Big Shirts book.
  • The Quilter Magazine - May 2007
  • Quilting for Show - a practical guide to successful competition quilting and it includes a DVD.
  • And last but not least, the BAG! It is cute, too.

And I have put together a slide show so that you can see everything that was in the bag and how cute it was before I tore everything out of it!

Ummm, HOLY COW!!! That's a lot of stuff in that bag!! Gosh, the $$ amount on that entire bag is HUGE! Those PJ Pants give me an idea. Maybe we all need matching jammie pants to commorate our first Quilting Sleepover!! Hmmmm, I'll have to get on that since I've got PJ pant making down to a science!

Wow! You got a ton of stuff in that bag! I can't believe all they put in there. Almost makes you want to share your goodies with friends! I would love to win that much stuff, but I'm never quite that lucky.

That is quite a haul - maybe worth the trip to go back to the shop to get it!

Wow what a haul. I've never seen so much in a prize bag before. Now see didn't it make it worth while to have to go back for it?
