I tried to spend most of the day on Saturday quilting. It didn't exactly happen.
I got up and met my friend and sorority sister, Amy, for the Memory Walk for the Alzheimer's Association. It was a really nice day out, but it was hot walking. It was a 5 K walk and we finished in just over an hour. This year, they handed out a bag of some snacks and that was it so we left.
After that, I headed over to the quilt shop in Indiana that had my basket that I won from the Shop Hop. Luckily, they were open this week and I got my bag. (I have a post ready about this, but the Webshots slideshow isn't working right. I will post it as soon as the pictures show up.)
Once I got home, I had lunch and relaxed a little and then took a movie to my sewing area and started cutting. I had to cut 2 jelly rolls of fabric for my Wagon Wheels class that started this past Tuesday. I watched the Zodiac and it was a really good movie. I think my Mom would like it.
I finished up the cutting and got dinner and had a huge headache by that time. I ended up asleep on the couch at 8 PM and in bed by 9:30. I am thinking that it is the allergies and time to start taking medicine for the fall sinus problems.
I was going to post some pictures, but am still having problems with Webshots and can't get it to even upload my pictures. Maybe this evening....

Hey, don't be too quick to put that kitchen timer in your kitchen. I have one by my sewing machine. If I only have a short amount of time to sew, I set it. If I'm free motion quilting, I set it so that I get up every 20 minutes or so to move around. If I'm trying to do laundry while I sew, I set it so I don't forget about it.
Sounds like you at least got to touch some fabric which is close enough to quilting. Sounds like you had a busy day.
