*Sigh!* The week still isn't half way over. :( This will probably be a long week at work. I will probably end up working late Wednesday and Thursday, but if it means that I don't have to go in this weekend, I will be happy!
Tonight, I got home just after 8 and I ate Wendy's - something quick since I was starving. Then, I took my newly acquired threads to the basement to work with Squiggy. I put Bottom Line in the bobbin and tested a few different threads in the top. Loverly! That is about all that I can say!
I used the Superior Lava thread and the Coats & Clark Star Brand. Since that the the Connecting Threads Essential thread is what I have the most of, I can fairly confidently say that I have made some great purchases! This thread is going to be a dream to use!
My granma, aunt and cousin are coming over to see the frame and for dinner and a movie on Saturday. I can't decide whether I will leave the muslin on the frame for them or if I should put in a real quilt so that they can see what it will look like.
I am really thinking that I will have a quilt quilted this weekend no matter what. I am very excited!
I am also thinking that I will have the Wagon Wheels quilt together by the end of the weekend. Last night, I was able to get about half of the pieces ironed that I sewed together on Sunday when I was one the phone. I think that it can be done. :) We'll see...

Personally, I would either leave muslin on or put fresh muslin on. They're not going to be able to resist trying it out!!
I would definately have muslin on it because they are so going to want to play and try it out. Have a great weekend getting all those projects accomplished.
Sewing while on the phone- you ARE the champion!!! I simply aspire!!! Look out July -here comes Jill!!!
Hi Jill!
Just thought I would say I enjoyed my visit through your blog... Some really nice things happening out your way!
Happy stitchings!
Sounds like you and Squiggy are going to have a long and fruitful relationship!! So glad that you're having such fun with your new toy!
Don't you wish you could stay home for a few days with your new toys and not mess with that "inconvenient" job? LOL
Hmmm....this dinner will still be in June, so at least that won't give Jen the advantage that day...
Glad you are enjoying the new quilting frame and machine! Good luck on your July quilting challenge with the girls...I think it will be a close race!
I'm such a dork. No need to answer my previous question. Since I had soo much catch up reading to do, I was reading your blog from bottom to top, so now I know it's the Wagon Wheel block!!! Too funny. It must be my cold that's making me weird!!
