Tired. Sore. Excited. Pumped up!
The NQA Show in Columbus was AWESOME! Seeing all of the quilts was fantastic! I know that I will never be as good of a quilter as some of the people who had entries in the show, but it was still a great experience to be able to see what they did on their pieces.
We shopped 'til I was about ready to drop! We had lunch, shopped some more, looked at the quilts, had a smoothie and shopped some more! I think by that time, everyone was ready to drop.
And riding the bus was a great way to get there and back. We didn't have to worry about anything except being on the bus when it rolled out!
I slept in the bus for about an hour on the way back and then Patrice and I hit a storm driving home. She did a great job maneuvering through it. Once she dropped me off, I let the dogs out, made a sandwich and laid down for a quick nap. That was about 6:30. I just woke up!
I think that this is going to have to be it until morning. I have a ton of pictures and I have to take pictures of all the loot I got. Right now, I am ready for bed! :)

Glad you had a great time. I'm looking forward to seeing the pics.
love and hugs xxx
I was there too! It was a great show. I've posted some pictures.
Your day sounds just like ours - almost! Me and my MIL and her cousin were there Saturday too! We left my house Western Butler Co. about 6 am. We took El's class at 8:30 and spent the rest of the day shopping and gawking at the wonderful quilts. We drove home in that same storm from Middletown down to Hamilton. We probably passed each other at the show! I've got quite a few pictures of both Elenour and the quilts too. We had a blast!
