Updates

I am behind on posting and plan on catching up slowly over the next couple of days. I have been working hard and I have lots of pictures to show what my efforts have produced. I am very tired and sore, but after a pretty good night's sleep last night, I am feeling better than I was last night. I am very excited to be so close to a weekend with very little plans which means that I can sleep as much as I want! I can't wait!

I will leave you with a full length picture of Lover's Lane. This pattern is from Pat Speth's first Nickel Quilts book and her pattern is called Sunny Lanes.

Still drooling over this one. Is this a keeper or are you giving this to someone??? 'Cause I would have a hard time parting with this one.

omg! I commented on this before, but I didn't know that it was a nickel quilt. that did turn out really great. I just got back from taking two classes with pat speth at maine quilts. SO much fun! was this using the small wonders pieces, or just HST/QST? again, it really looks great!

I love your quilt, and the colors you chose for it. I have Pat and Char's first book also, autographed. Did I ever tell you that Pat Speth used to work in a dental office in Bettendorf Iowa, and Char Thode (her friend she did the first book with) worked (and still does) work in a Law firm in Davenport Iowa where my friend Christie used to work? When we started our quilt group, about 7 years ago now, I think, Christie asked Char if she and Pat would come do a class for us. We paid them to come, and they were a lot of fun. The book relationship didn't work out for them to stay together, but it was fun. I have pictures of the two of them in my home, and if I can ever find them, I will send them to you, or post about them. I do have a picture of the two of them on my computer though, and I will email it to you. Not sure where I got it.

Good job on the quilt. It is gorgeous.

WOW, I love this quilt. I have one of the Nickel quilt books and I'll have to see if I have this pattern. I can't believe HOW much you got done in July - I'm so jealous.
