The other part of the group ended up leaving on a shopping and dinner expedition. I forgot to get pictures of their empty workstations because I was so busy being productive! While they were gone, Cathy finished up the Turkey wall hanging she started working on Thursday afternoon.
I finished up the OBW blocks just after dinner. They look very awesome, if I do say so myself! I still need to sort them and count them before class on Saturday.
After I put those blocks away, I started working on the Yellow Brick Road (YBR) quilt for my boss who is leaving the company. These are the fabrics that I chose to use.
This pattern is relatively easy and I started it around 8 PM that night. By the time we finished for the night, I had most of the blocks done. I was very anxious to be done with this quilt!

How big are you making the YRB? The 12 fat quarter size? That sucker should be quilted and bound by now, you've had enough time. Giggle.
I can't wait to see the end result of your one block wonder. I told a shopper at my shop that you were using the WOO fabric for it and she just thought I was smokin somethin!
I love the YBR's - they are "instant gratification" quilts in my book!!
Great colors you chose, too!
Great turkey!
Love the OBW blocks so far... 8-)
Those fabrics for the YBR are simply awesome!!! Love that floral!!!
Now I must get my butt in gear and get my projects sorted for my retreat this coming weekend...
Happy stitchings! 8-)
How smart to bring breakfasty things - it sounds like you had a great time. Can't wait to see the OBW blocks in their finished state!
Can't wait to see how the OBW quilt turns out. I love the fabric you started with.
Where is the turkey pattern from? I LOVE it!!
