Some goodies received

In September, I won a blog contest. See this post. I finally received the prize today. It's just adorable and so worth the wait!

After work today, we had our Quilt Shop Christmas party. I got to meet the rest of the workers that work from home and don't come into the shop on the weekends. We had a great time! The food was a joint effort and was wonderful!

Jan gave everyone a fabric basket with ties in their favorite fabrics. Mine was Califon! And the basket was filled with doughy goodness! There are some butter rolls and some dough knots. They are great! I will get a better picture when the basket is empty.

We also got this set of holiday tea light holders. They are gorgeous!

And we all got gift certificates to the store. I will have to think about what I need to spend it on!

After the individual gifts were handed out, we had a secret gift draw and played the stealing game. Of course, since an IHOP gift card was part of the presents, I had to end up with it! :)

Then, we played a couple of rounds of Left, Right, Center with fat quarters. They were some very heated games, but I won the second hand! Woo hoo!! 24 fat quarters!

The night was great fun and it was very nice to get to see everyone from the shop in a social setting!

What wonderful gifts! I'm sure you'll enjoy picking something out with the gift certificate. You got lots of fat quarters, I only got 4 at my party!

Hi Jill,

Glad to see the mini quilt arrived.. I was starting to get worried as it took a long time to get there.

All the best,

Ok, your gifts and fabrics are cool but while you were talking about butter rolls and such I really thought you were talking about some new way fabric was rolled up or cut in pre-cut fashion. I need help. I live, eat and breathe fabric.
