Lots of loops

With a little help from my quilting buddy....

100_1270

I finished the quilting on Lover's Lane! Man, it was rough! It felt like it took forever! I spent about 30 minutes Sunday night and again on Monday night and I didn't feel like I had made a dent.

The weather seemed to work in my favor. They did an early release since the freezing rain started around 3 so I left work at 4:30 and got home around 5:45. I took the dogs out and ate a quick meal and got back to it. Three hours later....

I think it looks awesome!

And as always...

Doggie approved!

I used Hobbs 80/20 for the batting, a light pink Bottom Line thread for the bobbin (I think I went through 4 bobbins!!) and a pink and brown variegated Lava thread. I think it looks awesome! Wait - did I already say that? :-D

Do I ever like that quilt!!!! "Lover's Lane" is it??? I am going to have to look for that pattern - but it probably won't be as pretty as yours!! Beautiful!!!

And I think your 'puppy' is way to cute!! I don't care how old they get they are still puppies to me!!! And the snow will not stay forever. Today, outside, it smells like spring.... that is not usual for northern Canada - hmmmmm, and it rained last night..... I am so glad it didn't freeze like I thought it would. Sorry to hear about your parking situation - I would not have been a happy cmaper at all!! Being stuck in snow is NOT fun!!!!

Have a great weekend!!
