Presenting....

Milky Way!!

100_1289

It doesn't even fit in the space where I have been putting my finished quilts lately!

Jen and I decided that I need at least 5.5 yards of fabric for the backing. I looked and found this piece that is approximately 8 yards. I guess that it will look OK on the back.

I'm not sure what to do with the binding. Maybe the same blue that is in the inner border? Thoughts?

I'm so happy to have another flimsy! Something else to quilt! Woo hoo!

I absolutely LOVE this quilt. Do you have scraps you can piece together for the binding. Or I'd be happy to take it off your hands and then the binding would be my worry instead.

It's beautiful!!!!!!! OMG! Sherry commented on your blog! She's never commented on mine. Giggle.

I'd go with blue or a pink.

Cute!

I'd go with the blue, maybe the darker blue if you have enough?

I like it. Very pretty. I'd go with a pink if you have it.

IMHO the blue from the border or the darker blue from the stars would be good.

But I could also see one of the darker pinks working also.

Whatever you choose it will be very pretty!

Jill - the quilt looks great! I agree with several others - the darker blue from the stars if you have it, the lighter blue from the inner border if you don't have the other one. Congrats on another finish!

What a beauty! Yep, the other ladies are right. Go with the darker blue if possible.

What a beautiful quilt!!!!! My firs=st choice would be pieced scraps for the binding. If not, the the same blue as the inner border.

It's lovely!!!!

Another great flimsy! Good for you!
I think a binding of that blue you used as your inner boarder would finish it off quite nicely! 8-)
Happy stitchings!

Love the stars. And laughed at the "tailless toy".
