Stash Report Week 11

Since I fell off the stash busting wagon and my Bubba is still in the shop, my report just looks pitiful! I bought fabric for a quilt, a kit for a different quilt and a little over a yard of muslin. Oh, and I was 'gifted' 2 fat quarters. I have plans for the muslin and the FQs so they won't be in my stash for too long.

Here's the total damage:

Fabric added this week: 16.85
Fabric added year-to-date: 37.22

Fabric used this week: o
Fabric used year-to-date: 35.90

Net Fabric Used: -1.32

On a positive note, I am making awesome headway on the cleaning! so once Bubba is back, I will be able to sew without any guilt!

Yeah, but your numbers are still close, so it won't take long to tip the scales the other way!

Your report looks fine!! You have been collecting for the fun you are going to be having, where's the harm in that?? And with all the cleaning you have been up to (you have almost got me to do some!!) now, you are going to be good for a long time and can give Bubba a good work out with no guilt involved!! Perfect!!!

I, too, am a fabric obssessor - particularly fat quarters. Just like dessert and appetizers kill my diets, FQs kill my fabric diet. What will you be doing with your FQs?

Wow I wouldn't even know where to begin with my stash.. I bought 2 kits a couple of weeks ago and well my stuff is still all packed up so I don't even know what I have.. We're making head way though .. I think..

I can't believe your numbers are so close! It seems like I've done a lot of buying early this year and I haven't done much sewing. I'm definitely in the hole by a lot! ;-) It also doesn't help much when you see really nice pictures of quilts, like the Memories of Monet quilt, and you end up buying the pattern because it looks so good. ;-) I should be REALLY set for the year now from a fabric standpoint.

A few fumble fingers there! Think of that fabric as something for Bubba to play with when he gets home. He's probably homesick.

You'll be quilting up a storm when Bubba comes home and then by retreat you'll be bringing your numbers down by a long ways. I got fabric this weekend for one of the quilts I'm going to make at retreat.
