I have fielded a couple of questions this week from blog readers who have very generously offered to send donations if I'd like them. I am sure that I have said this before, but I'm gonna say it again - I am just amazed at the generosity that people are exhibiting this year. Even with the country in the economic shape that it is, people are offering gift certificates and kits and things from their stash to help with this event. And the letters that I am getting from the donors are pretty cool, too! Just this week, someone thanked us for putting together such an event and promoting quilting at the same time!
Here are things that I have collected this week so far.
Deborah from the Thread Shed in Rochester, IN sent a $25 gift certificate for her shop. Woo hoo!
Margaret Miller of Miller Quilts sent 2 books that look spectacular and a kit for a table runner. Love the colors!!
CM Designs sent an Add an Eighth ruler and 2 patterns for wall hangings. Now, if you want to see something really cool, click on the link and look at the block on the page!
Moda/United Notions sent a fabric bag full of goodies!
And Prym sent a baggie full of notions!
We are definitely getting some great things in! And we are 3 weeks away from the actual retreat! I'm so excited! Now, I have to get back to working on things that have to be done NOW!

I love coming here to see what's new and it's always nice to visit your blog!! I had to go and print off the blk - and I am going to tell my guild about it. We all know someone who has or had this cancer and ...... thanks for sharing the blk link.
You have so many great things for the retreat!!! And you have done so much to be ready for the event and your guests - you deserve to have the best time ever!!
And rotating mats are the way to go!!!!! Great reading this morning while I try to wake up! thanks for the inperation!!
I agree with you about how overwhelming it is to see people's generosity. I'm excited about buying the raffle tickets at the retreat to raise even more money for St. Jude's. It's a great cause, a weekend doing what we love with people who share our humor, joy, and passion. What could be better?
Wow, those are some pretty cool items this week!!! I can't wait. I really hope that check comes through from kristie because I'm buying lots of tickets. I wanna win something this year dang it! I'm working on my donation stuff as we speak...well that and other gifties that need to be quilted. Tee hee.
Yeah I can't wait to win some of these great donations. They are just awesome.
