Weekend Goals

We are getting down to the wire for retreat preparation. And now that I have finished my other obligations for the shop, I can concentrate on the last few things that need to be done. I updated my To Do list at work today and then decided on what I thought I could get done this weekend. I didn't post the list right away, but I have already finished a few things. Woo hoo!!

  1. Clean Kitchen and 1st floor from my cleaning list - Got this done once I got home from work and running around.
  2. Fold laundry and put away
  3. Load Scout quilt on frame
  4. Quilt Scout quilt
  5. Piece backings for rest of quilts sent to me
  6. Cut fabric for Courier bag
  7. Gifts for my peeps for retreat
  8. Pants - cut fabric and start assembling
  9. Make a tool caddy
  10. Drop Nickel Quilt off at shop

We were let out of work early today and I ran to the shop to drop off the nickel quilt. Jan loved it! It should be quilted fairly quickly and then I can put on the binding. After that, I went to Kohl's since they were having a big sale. I used a gift card from Christmas and I ended up with a bunch of clothes and a couple of pairs of shoes for a fantastic price!!

Once I got home, I went to town on the kitchen and got that all ship shape and finished up a couple of things on the first floor. And I loaded a quilt onto the frame. Now, I'm just relaxing a bit. I think that I will be able to get the bedroom cleaned up and the laundry put away tonight. That's the plan.

Tomorrow, I'm taking a 'Get to Know Your Machine' class for the Janome. I think that we have been doing pretty well together so far, but the class is free and I'm off from the shop so I thought it would be worth it to take it.

Then, I'm sewing for the rest of the weekend! Woo hoo!!

You are doing awesome with your list! OMG... I just realized I need to mail my box on Monday. I got it partially packed, does that count? I don't have nearly as much done as I wanted to get done.
