Stash Report, Weeks 17-18

I spent most of the last week recuperating and catching up on work and things that I had missed while I was on retreat. I also thought about how I wanted to handle all of the stash in and out for the weekend when I didn't really keep track of everything.

I decided that I wanted to stay with the tracking and report as much as I could remember and try to get as close as possible to my numbers.

I spent part of this morning taking pictures of the purchases that I made while we were shop hopping and the winnings from the raffles that I actually kept because I need to still blog about all of that. I believe that I have come fairly close in what my true usage for the year is.

I did make one executive decision - I won the 33 pounds of fabric in the raffle and I have no idea of what the yardage was because I immediately started sharing it with my peeps at the retreat and having it stolen from other retreat attendees right out from under my nose (this of course will be discussed in posts when I start documenting the weekend happenings). I believe that I was left with barely a quarter of the 33 pounds, but I still have not gotten around to measuring it. A fair amount is scraps, but there are some large pieces. When I go through it, I will measure it, but I didn't want to take the time to do it now. It is back in the bag that was used to transport it home.

I did win a queen size quilt kit and I acquired another one just before leaving so I am pretty much in the hole for the next few weeks at least!

Fabric added these weeks: 58.57
Fabric added year-to-date: 115.28

Fabric used these weeks: 19.71
Fabric used year-to-date: 76.58

Net Fabric Used: -38.70

Now, I will definitely have to start making some progress here!

You'll be back on the positive before you know it! Can't wait to hear what the final number from the box-o-fabric is! They should be great scraps for the Bonnie Hunter class.

Some of your scraps are headed south to share with Lazy Sister Sue for our swap project 2009 -thanks! Sorry I was being so good about "organizing" the 33 lbs and facilitated the moocher...
