Tuesday, Linda and I went to Montgomery, Indiana to the Gasthof Amish Village. The pamphlets said that there was an Amish restaurant, Der Gasthof, and flea markets and an antique mall.
Just in case you missed it on that picture...
That's right, folks! No free wifi in the condo, but free wifi in the Amish Village.
We saw this very cool organ that I would've picked up for my granpa, but I didn't have space to take it home in the car.
At the flea market, we saw these little chicks. One didn't have wings and the other one had a different issue with its wings. When I put my hand in to pet them, the wingless one jumped into it to be held. Very cute!!
We had lunch at the restaurant and it was wonderful!! Linda had banana cream pie for dessert ...
... and I had lemon meringue.
After we ate, we headed farther west and stopped at a little shop that had candies and meat. Then we headed onto The Stitching Post. What a great store!!
Oh, and Jen this is just for you - I found a Root Beer Stand. ha ha ha
Linda and I had a great time exploring and shopping. I got a few things, but those will be in my next post. It was a great day!

LOL. Love the irony. Did you get to see any Amish quilts? One of the ones bouncing around on the design wall in my head is an Amish quilt.
That was such a fun day. Man, I could go for some pie right now! Hmmm, Pi.
That's a beautiful organ! Sounds like you had lots of fun shopping.
