I finished the Market Square lap quilt for the shop to use at Open House this Saturday. I just had to finish the binding, but I was putting it off. I finally sat down last week and started it and worked on it at the Guild meeting last night while listening to the speaker. I just had about 5 inches left to do when I got home.
Maisy likes it, too.
The Guild speaker was Ann Calland from the Quilter's Hall of Fame in Marion, Indiana. She also brought her brother Fred Calland's quilts and did a presentation on Quilts from a Man's Perspective. His quilts are gorgeous although they are all just tops! I forgot my camera and there are no pictures on the web that I found. So if you ever get the opportunity to see this display or presentation, DO IT!!
Cathy, the dear that she is, brought me a present! Although it is fabric! I'm questioning her motives now with my stash reports in mind! :) I love it, Cathy!!!
And when I got home, I had a surprise in the mailbox from Regina! Regina had posted a teaser on Facebook about having to mail out a pink thing she made. Jen and I argued about who it was for, but I just *knew* it was for me!! I love it! It's a quilted journal. And the fabric is perfect! Thanks, R!
Well, I better get in gear and get to work!
