Stash Report Week 8, 2010

This week is another good week. No fabric bought! None cut either... But no fabric bought!!

This week, I have been working on the HSTs for the secret quilts, but all of that fabric was cut in November so it has already been counted. I forgot about a lot of these fabrics that I cut for the quilt so I am having a great time sewing up the pairs. Yesterday, I sewed and ironed and trimmed most of the day and I finished 100 of the 472 HSTs that I need for the 2 quilts. There is another large stack to be ironed and another large stack to still be sewn together. It is coming along nicely!!!

Fabric added this week: 0.00
Fabric added year-to-date: 2.45

Fabric used this week: 0.00
Fabric used year-to-date: 32.95

Net Fabric Used: 30.50

Holding steady!

Have fun, my friend! The sun is shining this morning, making me want to get in the van and GO somewhere. I just might have to!

Yay for you!! I just love making hst''s. Mindless work that just moves on its own so your mind can wander and dream..then when you are done, there is that pile of wonderful little blocks!!

Since you're having so much fun with HSTs, can I send you mine if I have a project with a gazillion of them?!?!

HSTs are so boring when making them, but, boy, do they make pretty quilts! This is our year -- I just know it!!!

Good job on the no buy. I love HST's too. I think they are probably my favorite individual unit to make, except when they turn out crappy because I sewed them poorly :-).
