FNSI and Girls' Night

Once I got the house cleaned up for sewing, I worked on the bags that I wanted to make for Barb and KT for their birthdays. I got them finished with about 15 minutes to spare!

They loved them!!

Once they got here, we rushed to IHOP for dinner. We were all starving! And the food was soooo good! The company was pretty good, too!

When we got back to my house, we get everything set up and started sewing. The pups were so excited to have new people at the house. They really liked KT!

I warned KT about the iron and where the trigger was for the steam spray. I was sure that Barb heard me, too, but just about 10 minutes later, she sprayed her fabric and then turned the iron around to look at it.... The spray went off again almost right in her face. Once we stopped cracking up about, we had to get reenactments...

Barb was in shock...

KT was scared and yelled, "NOOOOOO!!!" Or something to that affect!

Barb is fine and all is well. Thank goodness!!

After a while, we had cake that Barb brought from Coldstone Creamery.

It was very yummy!!! I highly recommend their cakes!

I worked on my secret quilts' HSTs and got pretty far considering all the chatting and laughing that we did. I still have another stack to sew and then pressing and on to the next step.

The dogs were all worked up about having guests. Max kept jumping between the three of us for attention. They were exhausted by the time the girls left!

Sounds like you had a blast! I love sew-ins! Of course, if I had been at your house, you'd find me on the floor with the pups playing!
