I AM LOSING MY PATIENCE!!!

There will be no technician today. There will be no laptop work today. There will be no pictures, no update, no HAPPY CAMPERS HERE!!!

DELL?!?!? ARE YOU READING THIS???? DELL COMPUTERS??? YOU SUCK!!!

Apparently, having a job that takes you out of the home during normal office hours is not conducive to having someone fix a mobile object that is easy enough to pick up an move to the office with you. Cuz you know, a laptop is just too HUGE of an item to carry for a house to a car to an office!

So much for making things convenient for the CUSTOMER!!!!

DELL??? HELLO HELLO HELLO????

AND YOU WANT ME TO PAY FOR AN EXTENDED WARRANTY???? FOR WHAT?????????

Sorry, I'm a little upset.

Instead of being at my office today to fix the piece of shit laptop, the technician wants to meet at my house. TOMORROW NIGHT! This means straightening up and yelling at the dogs non stop when they won't shut their mouths at this stranger.

Oh joy. I can hardly wait.

And a little upset doesn't cut it right now.

Another blogger has been experiencing similar problems with Dell (http://www.abeachcottage.com/)

Apparently customer service doesn't mean anything to these people!!

Wow! Remind me to never piss you off!!! lol If I knew where ya lived I would bring you a bottle of wine, a six pack or something to help dissolve some tension ;). I do however know where you are coming from when it comes to customer service over computers. Been there done that. A little advice..... if you happen to have to get a new computer... go with a Mac. I love mine and the one time I did have to call customer service, I was very pleased with all their help. Mac's are well worth the price!!!

Some say, once you go Mac, you never go back and I can agree! I will never buy another PC.

I'm sorry. Don't get my friend Christie started on Dell unless you have a couple hours.

What the heck? What is the difference if he comes to your house or your office?!?! It's not like you're having a connection problem that *could* be something wrong at your house....the laptop doesn't work!

Sorry the day hasn't gotten better. I'd say who the heck cares if the dogs bark (or bite) the tech. He deserves it! Just put some earplugs in so YOU don't have to listen to them. hee hee

Although, I don't think ANY of the computer companies give a crap. I've had problems with HP too.

Fingers crossed it happens tomorrow so you can be done with them.

I think I have a lot in common with you....hang in there. Go cuddle with your fabric. Do something for you that you really enjoy (e.g. walk, manicure, soak in a bubble bath, etc.). I hope your laptop gets fixed very soon!

I don't blame you!! Why does it have to be at your house?? A laptop is supposed to go anywhere!

I think that you should meet him at the door and bark and growl...don't worry about the dogs!!
Hope it gets better!

I'm so sorry you are having so much trouble getting your laptop fixed! I have always had excellent service from Dell, but I had the Gold support, which was next day parts and service, so not sure if that's what you have or not. In any case, they certainly should be able to come to your office for something portable like a laptop. My current Dell is from Best Buy so I have the Geek Squad support instead of Dell Support, so we'll see how that goes if and when I need it.

I wouldn't worry if Max and Maisy give the tech a loud greeting. After the grief you've gone through with the laptop, the least they can put up with is a bit of barking. I'll send Daisy over to your place to add to the chorus and to bite the tech!

Didn't see you at the guild meeting last night.
Hugs,
Cathy
