Saturday, I sent Regina's quilt to her. The post office said it would be 3 days. I figured it would be 3 business days. I told her it would be 6-10 days just to throw her off the scent! Usually when I send smaller packages on Saturdays, she has it by Tuesday.
So imagine my surprise when she called at 6 tonight and said she had a lot of hand work to do!
And now that she has it, I can do the big reveal here!!
And this is the backing. It is an extra wide that I got at Joann's and it is quite nice!
The pattern is from Sandy Bonsib's Sweet Treats book. It was a new pattern for me to use (first of the year for my goal!!) and it's called Apple Crisp.

Love, love, love it! It looks like the Jewel Box pattern. That is the block/pattern I used for our bed quilt. It was a really fun quilt to make.
Actually I can see the variation now from the Jewel Box pattern. Really, really nice. I've not heard of this book, but I may need to check it out.
Wow - its beautiful. I just love the color combo but is it not too early for autumn (even though its my favourite season).
Nice!!! I love all the shades of brown.
Max did a great job!!! Regina is a lucky girl. It's awesome!
What a beautiful quilt! You did a great job. I admire your patience in getting through a complex layout with so much "help."
Love your helper! :-) I got 1/4 of the way around the binding last night - after the Munchkin and I played house. It looked so cool to be under it with the late day sun streaming through it - looked like a stained glass window! Matt loves it, too - he was studying the pattern and really likes the play. The fabrics are MARVELOUS - and I find new ones every time I look at it! Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!
I posted a really really long comment - and I don't know if it went through - it disappeared.
Rather than repeat - we will just say that the Munchkin, Hubby and I all LOVE it - the binding is begun - and Max is a GREAT quilt designer!
Thanks so very very very much!
