It's finally here! My 1,000th post! I'm so excited to have gotten so far in my blogging life!

To celebrate, I have been gathering items to be included in a large giveaway. I have also decided to hold several smaller giveaways throughout the month because.... drum roll, please! July 28th is my 3 year Blogiversary! So this is a super special month for my blog and I want to share with you!!!

Here is the booty in it's entirety! Although, there may be a couple more patterns or magazines added depending on if I find anything else worth sharing.

Those details will be following shortly. **Updated** HERE is the link for the International Giveaway!

Woo Hoo - 1000!!! Great work - and great fun for us to read!

I'm already a "loyal" follower :-) and will have to think on the fabric line question - that's a toughie!!!

Becca Quilts said...

Entry #1 - If I could be any line of fabric, I would design a computer programming line of fabric. One pattern could be names of various languages and/or various commands/keywords. Another print (or set of prints) could be of various diagrams used in software engineering. A print could have computers/hardware pictured. The set wouldn't be complete without a 0 & 1's print :-D. What can I say, I'm a computer geek!

Entry #2 - I already am a follower!

Max and Maisy are sooooooooo generous! LOL

Let's see if I were a fabric line I'd be called Confetti since I feel like I'm tossed around all the time! My sewing room looks like somebody tossed piles of fabric in there too!

Love ya,
Cathy

Congratulations on your milestone post!!!

If I could be any line of fabric I think I would be a batik.......they have come through the hot wax treatment and still look good..on both sides no less! I haven't yet met a batik that I didn't like.

I'll be interested in seeing what your other fans like.

PunkiePie (Jen) said...

I read your blog every day but rarely do I post comments. Congratulations on your big achievement!!

If I could be any fabric line... I guess my answer would be anything from the Me and My Sister line. I'm a girly girl at heart and I just love the colors and pattern they use in their fabrics. They make me sing. :) Boring answer...I know.

PunkiePie (Jen) said...

I'm also a follower. :)

ok ok I will go first!!! Congratulations on your 1000th post!! Tha is a lot of booty to be giving away!

hmmmm..what kind of fabric would a like to be??? Maybe the fabric in Gerard Butler's quilt? That would be nice! Really if I could be a line of fabric it would be 3 Sister's for Moda Paris Flea Market. Ballerina Slipper pink. It came out when I first started quilting and my sweet husband bought me the whole fat quarter set for Christmas! I still have it!

Libby said...

pssst..I'm following you girlie!!

What happened to my comment? Anyway, I thought I was a "follower" but evidently I wasn't official so I have made it official. Since I don't have a blog, I will post on facebook to get my quilting friends to come and check out your blog.

(If my first comment got lost in cyberspace.......I would like to be a batik......haven't yet met one I didn't like!)

Congrats jilly...

Shellie said...

I would be a fabric line chosen by a man quilter. A manly man quilter. Who would pick out a pattern to use me in and cut, piece, and bind me up into a lovely manly man quilt for him to snuggle with on cold and lonely nights. (no women allowed in my quilty layers)
yeah....

Shellie said...

I blogged you..... Congrats on the K baby! Woo hoo!!!

Amy said...

Oh Jill! To pick ONLY ONE fabric line????

not that Ive used any of this line yet, but "Cherish Nature" by Deb Strain (Moda line) is just lovely! Love the Robin-egg blues and greens!!! Someday!

As for being a follower---gonna do that as soon as I post! AND--you can count of me to add a link on my blog (even though it's so tempting to just keep this lil' giveaway to myself!!!) ;0) What a loot!!!!! Holy buckets!

Amy said...

See! I told you I'd be the first commenter :0)
Posted on Amy's Passions

And a follower to boot :0)

And July 28th??? Oh gosh---I don't know if I'll be able to wait that long!!! ;0)

Winona said...

Congratulations on such a nice achievement! I am not big on any certain line, except Thimbleberries. I would be any Thimblebrries line out there. I love their fabric. It is mostly dark and geared towards fall. (At least that is my opinion.) I guess I am in the fall of my life. Not winter, yet, but fall. The kids are all grown, but I still have some life in me. LOL Did any of that make sense? Great giveaway. Winona

Winona said...

Just thought I'd add that I just became a follower. Winona

Found your blog through Jen (Miss Punkie Pie) & glad I did! If I were a fabric line I'd be something brand new, bright, colorful & quirky! thanks for the awesome giveaway!

Ellyn said...

oh, and I am a new follower! Looking forward to coming back here often

Deanna said...

If I were fabric I might have to design my own line--it would, naturally involve a lot of cobalt blue, God's own perfect color. I have never found a line with quite enough of it.

Deanna said...

I follow you--of course. A daily read of your crafting adventures makes my day a little brighter. And it motivates, too. What a perfect combination.

Deanna said...

And, just because I couldn't resist, I posted about your giveaway on my site: http://weddingdressblue.wordpress.com/2010/07/06/1000-posts-yay-jill/

The selfish part of me wants to be the only one entering, but the generous-like-jill part of me hopes you have 1,000 entries. That would be appropriate, don't you think?

Quilting_Chris said...

Congratulations on your achievement. What a fan-tab-u-lous giveaway to celebrate the occasion. I would like to be anything from Sandy Gervais fabric from Moda.

PS: I'm not a stalker, but I am following you, now.

Jen said...

Congrats on your fabulous blogging milestone!

If I could be any line of fabric, I would be one that I created in teals, oranges, yellows, reds, and black. It would have some modern designs on the fabrics with swirls, circles, etc.

Jen said...

I've been following your blog for a while now and enjoy hearing about your quilting adventures.

Patty said...

Congratulations! For being a fabric I guess I'd be Whimsy by Fig & Plum because I don't want to take things too seriously. Whimsy has such cute colors and I love the words on the little circles. Fabric with words is really interesting to me. Otherwise I might have to be Life Is, for the same reasons.

I have made so many friends through blogging. I have enjoyed catching up on your blog and plan on following for a long time.

As for a line of fabric..I would go with Moda American Jane...I like it all and it reminds me of my childhood.

1000 posts and a 3 year blogiversary, fantastic. You should be so proud and your readers are so appreciative.

My favorite fabric line - probably Natures Notebook - Moda. It's the cool soothing colors. Just looking at them makes me feel serene, they carry me away.

ledamewood said...

I am a follower - no blogger, just a reader of blogs.

webmailaddress2 said...

I would be Moda's Lily and Will: girly but very well put together. Congrats on the 1000!

Regina said...

OK - this took me all day to ponder and this is what I decided...

If I were a fabric… I would be a white on white print.

Why?

Because I am versatile and can be used with nearly any fabric line out there.
Because people like to use both the BIG pieces of me and the LITTLE pieces of me – so I usually get all used up.
Because people like to keep a stash of me on hand.
Because when people talk about me they usually say “WOW”
…and when they turn me upside down… they say “MOM”

Congrats on your 1000 post! If I were fabric I would be a Moda scrap bag for sure! I am a little bit of everything all bunched up into one. I like quilting, crocheting, bakeing, my kids, pets, hubby etc. I am all different sizes depending on how many cookies I have been eating!

Congratulations on your 1000th post! Quite a milestone, as is the 3 year anniversary. I've been reading for a while, but not 3 years.

I'd like to be a line of fabric by Sandy Gervais. I haven't yet seen a line she's done that I didn't like. In her current lines, Frolic is especially fun, and I'm looking forward to Lollipop.

I'm a new follower despite having been reading your blog for a while.

congratulations!

Wow, 64 comments already since this morning! I am hoping 65 is what Mr. Random likes :) I think if I had to be a line of fabric, I would be the new Happy Zombie line Happy Holiday - just love those colors and you can use it for Christmassy or non-Christmassy stuff because the colors are so versatile. Congrats on 1,000!

If I could be any line of fabric I'd like to be Moda. I see it as being so chic. Sometimes I wish I could be really chic!

elizabeth said...

it would be hard to pick out just one line. i would love to create a new children's line. it would be very colorful, happy, playful, but not to baby like or to grown up like. i guess i have a little peter pan complex, i don't want to grow up. or i would like to creat a new and exciting tone on tone or blender line. so many have colors that are not true colors when it comes to red or blue. the blenders are so needed and used a lot when you cant quite find the right print to let certain fabrics stand out. i am a follower and i dont have a blog of my own to list yours on. congrats on the big 1,000 post and 3rd year .

Happy 1000th post!

If I could be any fabric line, I'd be one of my own creation. Full of green, orange, pink, and black. Why this one? I like being an individual (therefore my own line) and I'm feeling those colors right now! Another reason is that I'm drawn to bright modern fabrics but I've been quilting with traditional fabrics. I need to bust out of that and walk outside my color comfort zone!

I'd be from the Neptune line...all those sea colors calling my name to join them in the depths of the ocean. They are calming colors and I'd live there often...I'd come out to visit the grandkids and that's about it! :) Back in I'd go...is that a mermaid tail I see behind me????? No wonder......

CONGRATS on your 1000th post!!!! If I could be a line of fabric I would be the Zippity Do Dah line (I just finished a quilt in this line of fabric!) I chose it because it is so happy and carefree and that is what I like to be when I can!!!!! I enjoy your blog and the "doings" of your cute doggies!

Congratulations on your 1000th post! If I could be a line of fabric it would something called Pinkalation. I love pink and having a pink line of fabric would mean that I could make any and every quilt in PINK. It should have some very beautiful swirls and the daintiest of flowers with a coordinating stripe to go with it. In every shade from light to dark. Enjoy your blogiversary!

Congrats on 1000 posts. Whew! That seems like a lot! The fabric line that I would create for myself would have to be called Mommie Moda! It would have numbers, letters scattered everywhere, the word MOMMIE in caps everywhere, a row of zzzzz's crossed out for no sleep, bandaids, drippy popsicles, diapers! diapers! diapers!, burnt pancakes, take out menus....basically an i-spy print for Moms! I have a two year old son. You get the picture :)
Thank you again for these giveaways and congrats on the 1000th post and here's to the next 1000.
