The things we do for love...

Wednesday, when I got home, Maxie showed me that he and Maisy destroyed another toy this week. If you will recall, they destroyed his favorite toy on Monday. I do say it was his favorite toy because it was his Go To toy for the last few weeks since I picked it up. He was constantly chewing on it and licking it and just making it an over all mess!

When I got home on Wednesday, I found his next favorite toy....

The yellowish one was a casualty on Monday and the dark brown one was the casualty on Wednesday. Can you see the gaping head wound on the dark brown one? How about the limp, stuff-less body on the yellowish one?

While I was at work today mourning the loss of these babies to Regina, I figured that I would search for replacement squeakers since the squeakers in both of these toys were total losses. I found some that were around 40 cents a piece and then I found some that were on the PetSmart website! SCORE!!! I stopped on my way home.

Of course, I couldn't resist buying a couple more toys for the little rats! Max was trying to take the toys, cardboard and all, when I showed them to the pups.

And here they are trying them out.

And look! They know how to share!!

Max did end up with the giraffe back and chewed the heck out of it. The ring of yellow around it's belly was a different color when he was done with it because of his drooling. I saved all of you from that image! :-|

And while they got acquainted with their new toys, I fixed up the torn back and gaping head wound on the old favorites. Once I dropped those to the floor, Max didn't know what to go after next! lol

Is that the "6 million dollar dog toy"? We can rebuilt him - we have the technology!! :-) At least they stick to their toys and leave yours alone!!!

AAh. Stan isn't a toy dog luckily so all I have to contend with is half eaten chew bones around the place. Oh yes and tennis balls, lots of tennis balls

Love and hugs Gina xxx

Your dogs are adorable...and I give you kudos for attempting to repair the torn up toys. I actually wash them (to they don't smell) and return them to my dog so he can work on them some more!! ;-) Super cute though....
