Home again, home again, Jiggity jig!

Today, I arrived home safely from retreat this afternoon and I was greeted by the pups who seem to be very happy to see me. I was a little sad for retreat to be over because it was such a great time! There were around 50 women there for the retreat and we all just meshed so well. There were quite a few bloggers so it was like we already knew some of the gals. And those who don't blog knew those of us who do.... It was like getting together with old friends and just jumping in where we left off.

In spite of the few things that were mistakenly left at home, I made great progress on almost everything that I took. Six projects were dragged to Shipshewana in parts and pieces and only 1 was left untouched! I am pretty impressed with myself!

Since Becca and I arrived back at my house around 3:15 this afternoon, I had great intentions of unpacking everything and getting the pictures here that I was unable to take in Shipshewana once my camera's battery died. Unfortunately, once I started unpacking and hooked my camera up for charging, I ate dinner and lost all steam!

I do plan on pulling out a couple of blocks and throwing them up on the design wall to have a post for tomorrow's Design Wall Monday. And I will have to take pictures of the purchases and how far I got on all of my projects. I think that the retreat recap posts will start in a couple of days. Once I have a couple of nights to recuperate! And some time to catch up on my blog reading and emails. I have quite a lot of both to get through! :-D

I'm intrigued by those strips, Jill. Very nice gradation. Look forward to the next step to see how this builds.
