I had to make a big decision about what to show this week for the Design Wall. These are the strip sets for my granma's birthday/Christmas quilt. I think that this will be the project that I focus on when I get everything back in order in my sewing area. I was able to get 36 strip sets sewn and pressed on Saturday night before packing everything up to come home.
And finally, the pups return to blog land! They were pretty excited to see me yesterday! We spent most of the evening cuddling on the bed while I rested and napped a little.

your strips good great I like the color choice.
Your pup are so adorable. We are trying to get a baby Dachshund ourselves. Trying to be calm and wait patiently to find one:)
Your blog is great!

It can be boring sewing all those strips together but I bet the quilt top will go together quickly now.
so what are you going to be making with those strip sets - or will I have to wait until next Monday to see . . .
I like your blue combination color choices! Can't wait to see what you put together with them! :)
Love your color choices for your grandmother! Can't wait to see more of it!

Cute doggy. And sewing strips sets is one of the most boring things to do... which may explain why I haven't finished my trip around the world quilt. Getting closer though. Look forward to seeing what comes from the strip sets.
Love your strips and your dog is so cute. I tried to follow you, but the google connect is not working.Just thought you should know.

The eyes of those doggy pictures just make me want to melt into them. I love your colours in the strips, and am looking forward to seeing what you do with them.
I love the colours of your grandmother's quilt. Glad you had a good time at the retreat and look forward to hearing about all the things you got done.
great value choices - I often use a book on cd to get me through boring sewing!!
Pretty blues! Looks like some 9 patches in your future? Cute pups.
Looking forward to seeing what comes from those strips!
Love your dog. We have never left our doxie and are even taking her with us for our Christmas trip. However, she will have to stay home when we travel for our 50th in January and I already am feeling bad about it. Love that dog.
Love the fabrics you are using.
Glad to see the pups are Ok. I've missed them since you've been gone
