Stash Report Week 43, 2010

What a week!! I thought that I was going to make great strides to getting to under -100, but that didn't happen at all. :(  I guess I forgot about the shopping in Shipshewana during retreat.... My camera battery has officially died to there will be pics in a post this week of what was purchased, but for now, you will just have to settle for the numbers. :-D

I used fabric this week by cutting up the blocks for the BOM and the strips for my Granma's quilt.

I bought fabric and some of the shops on the way to Shipshewana and in Shipshewana.

Fabric added this week: 18.42
Fabric added year-to-date: 341.10

Fabric used this week: 12.98
Fabric used year-to-date: 218.50

Fabric Used: -122.60

My saving grace is that I used so much early in the week! lol

Purchases don't count on vacation and at retreats! Didn't you get the memo?

As I bought fabric while on Fall Break, I like Vicky's comment. Look at it this way, at least you've used 2/3 of the fabric you bought this year. That's a lot of sewing!

I hope that it's only a typo and that you bought fabrics at the shops, not the shops! Otherwise your stash report is way off!!

Just kidding - but thanks for the good laugh this morning!

I liked your idea on the how to store BOM in the binder.

Yes, almost as much fabric out as in. And you were at a retreat with tons of fun! That's what counts!

I too have kept my BOM instructions in a notebook, but you kicked it up a notch by placing the pieces in there too! If I had done that, I would not have freaked out several months ago when I realized I was missing two blocks - had the instructions in the notebook, but the fabric went MIA! Looks like you practiced some restraint with your purchases!

Less than 20 yards isn't bad! Although if you hadn't bought the 18 yards, look how close you'd be to getting under 100 yards! ;0) Can't wait to see pictures of the new stash.

The good news is that you added less than Judy!
