Design Wall Monday, 12/13

Well, I was hoping to be able to show a complete quilt top, but I was a slacker yesterday. I didn't get to sewing until around 5. I have 2 sections finished and most of the third of the Radiant Star quilt for my Granma.

I've had a fair number of comments ask about the book that the pattern is from. It is from Radiant Sunshine and Shadow by Helen Frost and Catherine Skow and the pattern is called Morning Has Broken.

Right now, we are dealing with a lot of powdery snow so I am going to give myself a 2 hour delay and spend a bit of time sewing this morning. I like to give the crazy drivers time to get off the road and the sun a chance to rise before I leave the house.

The pups have enjoyed spending the evening on the bed napping while I sewed. But when I try to get pictures of them curled up together, they jump up and look at me.

The quilt is looking good. I really like the colors you choose. No snow here, but it's bitterly cold with wind.

Jill - your quilt is coming along great. It looks fabulous especially your color choices. I was even more of a slacker yesterday -- I never made it to the studio. The puppies (even if I see a little gray in the muzzle) look so cute. They are photo hams! Enjoy your 2 hour delay!

The quilt top is absolutely gorgeous!

My pups do the same thing - it's as if they have sonic hearing when it comes to camera time
